The high-end retailer Neiman Marcus, based out of Dallas, Texas has introduced a new concept store, where you can purchase current season, on trend items that are deeply discounted. Last Wednesday we had the chance to attend the private preview party for Last Call Studio by Neiman Marcus, located at 2315 Post Oak Blvd., hosted by Houston Tidbits. Last Call Studio Stores are vastly different from the Last Call Outlet Stores that are located in the outskirts of cities, and carry past seasons inventory marked at 50% off in the set up of a liquidation center. These new studio stores buy directly from vendors with the consumers in mind and you still get 30% off what you normally would spend in a standard Neiman Marcus Store. This newest addition in Houston is the 5th store to open in the USA.

The Last Call Studio private preview party was filled with energy thanks to Crave Cupcakes and the bubbly/wine that was circulating throughout the entire store. Shopping and beverages, we’re easy pleasers. The Last Call Studio is designed like a higher end store, having spacious fitting rooms, modern fixtures and clean lines, that made it a joy to shop. Their moderately priced items were on trend with colors and current styles. We found neon, purple, orange, nude, and prints for the everyday shopper wanting fine apparel for a fraction of the price. Hence their slogan, “Look Fabulous. Be Frugal.” The staff was friendly and very accommodating with answering our questions on sizing and merchandise.

Looking around the store, we saw so many fabulous designer clothes, shoes, and accessories. Beautiful blousy tops from Alice + Olivia, knee-length skirts from Nanette Lepore, a vast selection of dresses from Robert RodriguezDVF, Rachel Roy and Catherine Malandrino‘s collections just to name a few. Stunning eye wear and beautiful accessories from Kate Spade, DVF, Michael Kors and Mark and James all 30% off normal prices.

We also noticed they carry men’s wear. Lucky for Houston, because this is only the second store to include men’s clothing. Grab some Hugo BossTrue Religion and Cole-Haan for him while you shop, because we always need a shopping excuse! “I was picking something up for you and I saw these shoes!” Yes. The shoe department was like heaven Giuseppe Zanotti, Marc Jacobs, Badgley Mischka, Sam Edelman, L.A.M.B., Charles Jourdan and Kooba. We had a wonderful sales assistant Eden, who gave us the VIP treatment and brought out some trendy studded Sam Edelman peep-toe pumps for our viewing. Very impressive! I ended up grabbing the Charles Jourdan elektra nude patent leather pump that retails for $249 with a store price $179.

The store is officially open for business if you’re looking for amazing designer discount shopping. Not in the Houston area? You can check out lastcall.com for shopping in the comfort of your home or office. Shhh we won’t tell.  Happy shopping beauties!
