The Free Press Summer Fest is an annual two-day music festival held in Houston, Texas at Buffalo Bayou’s Eleanor Tinsley Park. Last year the third annual event featured more than 160 national and local acts on eight stages with a weekend total attendance of 60,000.
This year The Free Press Summer Fest IV will be held June 2-3, 2012. Hosting a diverse line up that includes many different acts there’s everyone from Snoop Dogg, Danny Brown, Pretty Lights, Morris Day And The Time, Ume, Z-Ro, DJ Ebonix, to Wallpaper, Willie Nelson, AfroJack, and Erykah Badu, just to name a few. When: June 2 and 3
Where: Shuttles will depart from Fitzgerald’s, 230 T.C. Jester and 1525 Silver Street. Riders from Fitgerald’s and 1525 Silver Street will be dropped at Lot H. Riders from 230 T.C. Jester will be dropped off at a Taft St designated spot (close to the former Gravitas restaurant).
Cost: If purchased by May 19, one day passes are $10, two day passes are $18 for any location. After May 19, one day passes are $15, two day passes are $28
